Against this dire backdrop, we meet Jack Chaney, a man with a dark past who returns to the life he walked out on, searching for the wife he abandoned years ago so they can embark on a new life together off-world. But, Jack must first contend with his checkered past and face a reckoning that could jeopardize his chance for a new beginning.
